The foundation beneath your website

A strong website
needs sound operation.

A convincing website needs a technical foundation your team can rely on. We clarify domains, hosting and responsibilities so your website stays manageable in everyday operation.

A clear operating foundation makes maintenance easier.

Starting point

Not every project needs the same environment.

If your website loads slowly or goes down during changes, customers and your team are affected. We examine what your application actually needs, who is responsible for the domain, DNS and backups, and whether existing infrastructure can be retained.

Scope of services

A sustainable
technical foundation.

Domains, hosting, certificates and backups are planned as one operating process. That makes it clear who can act when changes or faults arise.

01 / SERVICE

Domains & DNS

We plan registration or transfer, DNS records and the separation of website and email services. Ownership and administration details must be clearly assigned.

02 / SERVICE

Suitable hosting

The environment is chosen around the application and its operation. This includes runtime versions, certificates, resources and the ability to test changes in a controlled way.

03 / SERVICE

Backups & transition

Backups, recovery and responsibilities are agreed. During a move, we consider the website, domain and email services together.

Infrastructure to suit your needs

When standard hosting
is no longer enough.

Performance, control or bespoke requirements may call for a different environment. We plan the connection between your web application and infrastructure, including dedicated servers and colocation in an Austrian data centre.

Web hosting or a dedicated server?

A maintained hosting environment is sufficient for many websites. For specific runtimes, resources or access requirements, we assess a dedicated server.

Domains, DNS, SSL/TLS, backups and responsibilities remain part of the plan. Operation and monitoring are defined within the agreed scope.

Colocation, rack units & partial racks

With server housing or colocation, your own hardware is located in a data centre. Depending on requirements and available capacity, we assess individual rack units, partial racks or a full rack.

Quarter, half and full racks are planning options, not a blanket promise of availability. Space, power, connectivity, access and responsibilities are clarified before an offer.

Remote hands & controlled maintenance

Remote hands support on site for hardware problems can form part of the agreed operating model. Scope, access and contacts are defined in advance.

Server maintenance and changes to web infrastructure are prepared in a controlled way. We agree availability, maintenance windows and response times to suit your infrastructure.

Maintenance & development

Thoughtful implementation

A move is a planned process.

Before a change, we record the website, databases, DNS and external dependencies. The target environment is prepared and checked. Only then does the agreed switch take place, with a fallback plan. Email settings must not be changed accidentally.

01

Verify domain access and responsibilities

02

Check the application and TLS

03

Consider backups and recovery

04

Coordinate the DNS change and follow-up checks

Questions & answers

What you should
know before starting.

Can we keep our existing hosting?

Yes, if system requirements, access and operation are suitable. We assess the environment before recommending a change.

Will email move too?

Only if expressly included in the project. Website and email services can operate separately. Existing email DNS records are included in the migration plan.

Are automatic backups enough?

A backup alone does not prove that recovery works. It must be clear what is backed up, how long backups are retained and how a restore can be performed.
